Windows Mobile 2005

Wednesday, September 21, 2005, 08:44

A brief bit of news on Windows Mobile 2005 support: we currently have an i-Mate JasJar on order, and when we receive this unit we'll be looking at required changes for WM2005. So far it appears that there are some display issues which may or may not be specific to this unit.

As with all new WM releases, it takes some time to work through oddities that have cropped up, and we thank you for your patience as we acquire hardware (sadly, at the same time as consumers) and work through them.

Beta testers needed

Thursday, September 01, 2005, 10:39

We're currently looking for beta testers for our new product, StoryGrinder - a writing tool for Mac OS X (10.3.9 and above). This will initially be a closed beta test, which means we'll be looking for a limited number of people to give the software a try and provide us with opinions, suggestions and bugs.

We currently have no plans to support this unit for any of our software. This may change in the future if there is sufficient interest to justify the development cost.

pTravelAlarm 2.0.10 for Smartphone has been released as a Beta and is available here.

As always, we'd appreciate any feedback on any issues.

pTravelAlarm 2.0.9 for Smartphone (Beta)

Sunday, January 23, 2005, 08:56

pTravelAlarm 2.0.9 for Smartphone has been released as a Beta and is available here.

This version contains Smartphone 2003 specific code and a small number of bug fixes. Althought the number of visible changes is small, we're making this available as a beta (rather than a regular release) simply because of the new Smartphone 2003 specific core code.

As always, we'd appreciate any feedback on any issues.

A Word on PayPal Registrations

Thursday, January 20, 2005, 16:18

Registrations by PayPal result in us manually sending you your registration code via email. At the most, this will take 24 hours. Although this is stated on all of our application web pages, we're reiterating it here. Usually it's a lot less than 24 hours to receive your code.

This process is not automated for security reasons.

If you haven't received your code within 24 hours, please check your spam folder and failing that, check that you can receive email at the address associated with your PayPal account. You can also send us a note via e-mail if you'd like the code sent to a different address.

pTravelAlarm 2.5 Beta Update

Sunday, January 16, 2005, 20:12

pTravelAlarm 2.5.4 (beta) is now available for download here.

This will be the last beta version (barring serious bugs) before release.

As always, we'd appreciate hearing about bugs and suggestions, and we thank those people who've taken the time to report problems and offer suggestions for future versions.
